For a while, I have been getting frustrated about the lack of auditions I get. There are some periods where I go months without an audition. It's a fact that working in this town is frustrating. And yet, hundreds of people join the population of LA Every Single Day, with hopes and ambitions.
Most of them have dreams that are not very realistic. I wish I knew stuff about living LA and acting when I started. But here I am, a couple of handful of years later, and trying not to make mistakes.
Also, there are endless amounts of books that "warn" perspective actors of the possible tragedies and the limited chances of opportunity. And you can't tell if the author is trying to help, feel important because they are lecturing, or just trying to turn a buck from a book sale.
That's where I came up with an idea for a VLOG.
I know I am a spazoid, trying to get attention. I always have been. This Vlog's ideas are to hopefully inspire and inform honestly to the perspective actor, hoping to know what to expect. And, hopefully entertain those who are happy with their current callings in their lives.
For me, it allows me to practice being on camera. Beyond that, there is a growing importance for having an online presence. I am still trying to understand the importance of throwing my personal choices over the internet. But if I do it, it should not be accepted as either Gospel or serious. Or even correct.
And the best part of this is, it is and always will be free. I have no interest in making this a career nor getting money from someone who is being entertained. However, if a company wants to sponsor these videos, I have absolutely no problems being a corporate shill.
I was heavily inspired by David Letterman, when he was on CBS but especially when he was on NBC. He did these amazing remotes where he would walk around the streets, talking to whoever will talk to him, with just him and a cameraman. And ALWAYS found the funny in this situation.
I would love the idea that I could entertain, inform, and not have people make the same mistakes I have made.
And we are back... And happy to be celebrating Earth Day 2019. We take a pseudo tour of the NEW Apple Headquarters Offices in Cupertino, California, and what Apple does to do their party on Earth Day and every day. Then, let's join Kyle on the voyage to another audition, where he explains about the different types of auditions, and why there are so many types. And see Kyle dressed probably the most stupidly he has ever dressed for an audition. All this and a cheesy magic trick.
All things must come to an end. And after much consideration and frustration, it's time for me to end this Vlog, and work on my career. So, I thank you for watching and hope you will follow me on my future endeavors.
